Department of Earth and Space Sciences – University of WashingtonHi, I'm a geoscientist interested in volcanology and geophysics. I'm currently a postdoctoral research associate at the Department of Earth and Space Sciences at the University of Washington working at the lab of Prof. George Bergantz. I completed my Ph.D. in 2019 at the University of Grenoble under the supervision of Dr. Alain Burgisser and Dr. Philippe Lesage.
My research focuses on the dynamics of magma reservoirs and how they influence the geophysical signals recorded around volcanoes using both numerical and analytical approaches. Currently, I’m using numerical simulations based on the Discrete Element Method coupled with a Computational Fluid Dynamics solver (DEM-CFD) accounting for the presence of non-spherical particles to explore how the variety of crystal shapes affects the rheological properties of magma mushes.
